Austin, TX– We’re back at it! Robbie and I are on our way to Austin, Texas tonight. Our days will be filled with mostly BBQ, Tex-Mex, and music. We will likely come home tired, 10 lbs heavier, and possibly with new guitars. We’ll also return with another food adventure under our (loosened) belts and many-a-story I’m sure. The itinerary is complete and 90% is food on this one.
Just to highlight a couple places, we’re going to attempt the infamous Franklin Barbecue regardless of the lines. I’d wait days for a nicely smoked brisket.
Yeah, just let that sink in for a minute… And what about this sandwich? The Tipsy Texan boasts chopped beef brisket, thinly sliced pickles, coleslaw, AND sausage! There’s two of us, we can do both, I think. I hope. We’ll find a way. We have to.
